# Hosted capture

> What the person being verified sees.

The hosted page is served by Esectra at `/verify/{token}`. It opens on a list of the required steps. The biometric check starts with a short liveness introduction, then uses the browser camera for a selfie. If the tenant's verification policy requires document extraction, the next step accepts a camera photo or a JPEG, PNG, or WebP file up to 12 MB.

The browser submits media directly to Esectra. The page tells the person only whether their details were submitted; it does not expose the verification decision or model scores. The customer's application receives the outcome through its authenticated integration.

Camera access needs a secure HTTPS origin in a deployed environment. If the current device cannot use a camera, the page displays a QR handoff to a phone. The capture link expires and stops accepting media once the session is completed.
